Gardeners are gradually abandoning plans to plant potato plantations. But other vegetables, less cheap, are still being grown by themselves.
This applies to tomatoes, cabbage, onions, other vegetables and, of course, cucumbers, which are afraid of the cold.
Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" - a scientist, agronomist and landscape designer, told which varieties of cucumbers are less susceptible to cold.

Proper care will allow you to harvest up to 30 kilograms of cucumbers from one square meter of garden bed.
But the main advantage of this species is the plant’s resistance to cold.

This variety of cucumber produces a harvest of sweet fruits that are not bitter and are almost never hollow.
It bears fruit well, even if the season is damp and cold, and the plant is resistant to many known diseases.
"Fast and Furious"
With proper care, it will bear fruit until October.
It can be grown in open ground or in a greenhouse; the variety is resistant to diseases and does not require abundant lighting.
