Do you think replanting is just changing the soil and the pot? Then why do the plants get sick for a month after that?
It's all about the little things you ignore.
For example, a new pot should be only 2-3 cm wider than the old one - in a spacious container the roots will begin to rot.
And cover the drainage holes with... coffee filters - they let the water through, but don't let the soil spill out. Another secret is a "vitamin bath".
Soak the roots in water with honey added (1 teaspoon per liter) for 30 minutes before planting - this will speed up adaptation. But the most important thing is not to water the plant right away!
Give it 2 days of "dry mode" to allow the micro-injuries of the roots to heal. And to prevent the soil from compacting, mix it with polystyrene balls - they will create air pockets.
And never use soil from your garden! Bake it in the oven at 100 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes to kill the pest larvae.
But how do you know that the plant is ready for transplantation? If the roots come out of the drainage holes or the soil dries out in an hour, it's time to act.
And if the flower is "stuck" in the pot, do not pull it by force. Knock on the walls, turn the pot over and carefully shake out the soil lump.
Another trick is "transshipment". For particularly capricious plants (for example, citrus fruits), do not clean the roots from the old soil, but simply move the lump to a larger pot, adding fresh soil.
After transplanting, do not place the plant in the sun - keep it in the shade for 5-7 days.
And to reduce stress, spray the leaves with a solution of succinic acid (1 tablet per liter). And never fertilize for the first 3 weeks!
The roots are not yet ready to absorb fertilizers. Instead, water the flower with water with aloe juice added (1 tbsp. per liter) - this is a natural growth stimulant.
