In the fight against aphids, all means are good, but not chemicals – this is the opinion of gardeners focused on environmentally friendly farming.
There is nothing wrong with this, the main thing is that folk recipes work without fail.
It is believed that this recipe against aphids kills the pest outright, and the ingredients for preparing the potion can be found in any kitchen.
Even if you like to treat your plantings from aphids with a homemade solution, try this option.
How to proceed
To prepare the solution, add the following to ten liters of water:
- 2 tbsp. baking soda;
- 1 teaspoon iodine;
- 100 ml liquid soap.
The ingredients must be thoroughly mixed and after the soda has completely dissolved, pour the solution into a sprayer.
The composition will not harm plantings, either those affected by aphids or healthy bushes or trees.
Experienced gardeners also say that this same recipe can be used for preventive treatment against powdery mildew.
