Sow zucchini in the ground after the threat of return frosts has passed. This is usually the end of May.

But it is even better to grow zucchini using the seedling method. In this case, fruiting occurs even earlier.
Seed preparation
The most that needs to be done is to soak in warm water for 12 hours or sprout.
But all this is done solely at will, since in most cases shoots appear when planting ordinary seeds.
Seeds germinate only when sown in open ground.
How to care
1. Zucchini is watered at least once a week, and in dry weather three times a week.
2. The stem needs to be hilled until the plant produces 5-6 leaves.
3. Fertilize the squash 10 days after sowing. Mineral fertilizers stimulate growth. The second feeding is during flowering, the third when the ovaries appear.
