That’s why summer residents turned their attention to straw – it’s lighter than manure and cheaper.
How to use straw
It’s simply amazing, but one ton of straw contains no less useful substances than 3 tons of manure.
Namely, we are talking about nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, which is already not bad. It also talks about sulfur, copper, boron and manganese.
Straw is used as a natural loosening agent for heavy soil.
In any case, it needs to be added to a depth of 10 cm, and for the success of the event, it is recommended to add compost of 50 kg per hundred square meters.
But there is one important detail. The effect of adding straw should not be expected until it decomposes in the soil.
