Not all plants will feel good if planted after cucumbers.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh tells us which crops should not be planted in a cucumber bed.

What should not be planted after cucumbers

Firstly, it is strictly forbidden to plant related crops after cucumbers.

These include squash, pumpkin, pattypan squash, zucchini, watermelons and melons.

Also, you shouldn’t plant celery, cabbage, tomatoes and peppers after cucumbers.

After cucumbers, you can plant legumes, onions, garlic, carrots, beets, spinach, Swiss chard, caraway, cilantro, dill, parsley, radish, horseradish, daikon, potatoes, physalis, corn, lettuce, basil, sorrel, mint, lemon balm, and green manure crops.
