What to sow for seedlings

1. In December, you can safely begin sowing crops with a long growing season or a long germination period.

At the same time, crops are sown that bloom 6-7 months after seed germination.

For the most part, these are ornamental crops. Therefore, you can sow the seeds of eustoma, snapdragon, of course, petunias, clematis, lavender and other ornamental crops.

Other decorative crops that are planted at this time include conifer seeds, oak, maple, and robinia.

2. This is also the time for sowing salad greens and vegetables.

When planting a vegetable garden on a windowsill, you need to remember that cucumbers and tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, cabbage, celery and sweet potatoes are sown in it at the beginning of winter.

All these crops can be grown both on a windowsill and in a heated greenhouse.
