If you decide to plant a plum tree on your plot, you are probably counting on a decent harvest of tasty and sweet fruits.

However, sometimes expectations are not destined to come true.

Even with active flowering and the appearance of ovaries, plums can fall off much earlier than expected, leaving us without a harvest, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, landscape designer and agronomist.

There may be many reasons for such "behavior" of the plant. But there is one method that is extremely effective in this matter.

What does it consist of?

First of all, it is worth noting that these recommendations apply to plants that have reached three years of age. In early spring, the plantings need to be fed. To do this, take two spoons of potassium sulfate and urea per bucket of water.

After the flowering procedure is over, you need to "treat" the plum with the following composition: take three spoons of nitrophoska per bucket of water.

When you notice that plums have already begun to appear on the plant, you can also use manure: for one part of natural fertilizer, take twenty parts of water.
