In order for berry bushes to survive the winter well, they need to be provided with adequate nutrition after the fruiting process.

Thanks to this, next year you won’t have to worry about harvesting.

Therefore, it is worth knowing which fertilizers are best suited for these crops, says agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication BelNovosti.

What nutritional compositions can you pay attention to?

For gooseberries

An excellent solution would be to use the popular biohumus. For gooseberries, the product would be an ideal option. You will need to take 300 grams of the product per bucket of water.

This volume is used for one gooseberry. Also, after the procedure, do not forget about mulching.

Complex composition

This remedy will also be appropriate as a currant fertilizer. You will need to take about 250 grams of ash per bucket of water, and also add one spoon of superphosphate and potassium sulfate.

For each bush, take 10 liters of the mixture.

For currants

The simplest and most effective method of feeding currants is to use potato peels.

The peelings simply need to be dug into the tree trunk circle.
