You can speed up the process of decomposition of biomass and cleanse the compost from harmful microflora.
Before putting it into compost, the apple litter must be disinfected. For this, you need to use a solution of ferrous sulfate. The product is quite easy to prepare. For each bucket of water, you need to take 200 grams of the product and 3 tablespoons of urea.
After such treatment, the apples should be sprinkled in the compost pit with a mixture of soil and ash. The litter should be laid out in layers.
While it is warm outside, every two weeks you need to water the compost with a solution of microbiological preparations with hay bacillus (Fitosporin-M and its analogues). As soon as the temperature drops below 10 degrees, the procedure should be stopped.
As a result, the following year you can use the fertilizer for flower beds and vegetable crops.
