And it's all about a common mistake. Plants need to be fed under certain weather conditions, and many gardeners ignore this point.
What weather is not suitable for fertilizing
There is no point in adding mineral fertilizers to the soil if it is cold outside.
Moreover, primary attention should be paid not so much to the air temperature, but to the soil temperature.
If the second indicator is below +10 degrees, then there is no need to feed garden crops yet: let the soil cover warm up sufficiently.
Otherwise, applying fertilizers will be pointless: the root system of plants simply will not “accept” any compounds or microelements.
By the way, extreme heat is also not the best condition for applying fertilizers.
It is advisable to postpone the procedure to cooler days. And if the action cannot be postponed, then the soil should be well moistened. This should be done even if the fertilizer itself is liquid.
