The beauty of the Decembrist can be admired both in summer and winter.
Many gardeners leave the Decembrist on the windowsill “naked” for a long time.
This happens even with regular fertilizing and proper watering.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh listed the factors that influence the flowering of the Decembrist.
First of all, you need to pay attention to the room temperature. Sometimes it is useful for the flower to arrange so-called "shock therapy".
The plant needs to be moved for a while, for example, to the balcony when it is cool there. This simple action will have a positive effect on budding.
Another important nuance is lighting. It can also affect the flowering of the Decembrist. Most often, flowers of this plant are formed on the side that faces the window.
But at the same time, one should not forget about fertilizing and timely soil moistening. The soil also needs to be changed periodically, otherwise the flower can become a victim of pathogenic microflora.
