Every gardener will grow luxurious shoots.
Experienced gardeners try different methods of propagating their favorite plants, but the cutting method is still popular.
During the summer, roses actively grow green shoots, from which new bushes can be obtained.
But not all varieties can be propagated by cuttings. The expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told which roses are best suited for this.
Cuttings will grow from any variety, but not all of them will take root. Therefore, it is better to immediately determine the most suitable variety.
For example, some of the best roses for this purpose are considered to be shrub and floribunda roses, bred by breeder David Austin in the last quarter of the 20th century. They are also called English roses.
These plants do not require special care and take root well in a new place. The main thing is to plant the cutting in the shade. You can stick the shoot into the ground and cover it with a cap.
