Never throw away banana peels if you have a ficus tree at home: it's not about feeding

As you know, the peel left after a ripe or not very ripe banana has been eaten can be used to feed indoor flowers.

To prepare a fertilizer based on fruit peelings, the peel should be finely chopped.

Once the preparatory work is completed, bury the remains of the banana closer to the base of the pot.

The results will not keep you waiting long - as a rule, plants are delighted with such an improvised fertilizer.

Let us remind you: banana peel can be used not only as a basic fertilizer, but also as an addition to store-bought compositions.

However, this is not the end of all the ways it can be used.

If you are the lucky owner of a ficus, monstera, croton or other flowers with wide, dense leaves and suddenly find that their foliage has become dull and lifeless, try wiping it with the soft side of a banana peel.

Thanks to this simple care procedure, the leaves will become shiny again and, in addition, will be protected from dust and receive the necessary nutrition.
