Without water, nothing grows. Even cacti need watering from time to time. What can we say about vegetable crops.

A modern gardener can choose between manual and automatic watering. But the main thing is different: you can't allow the soil to become over-moistened. Let's figure out how to do it right.

Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh shared several details that will help you decide on this issue.

The best way to water potatoes depends on several factors, such as soil type, rainfall, temperature, and humidity. However, in general, potatoes should be watered regularly, but not too much, to avoid overwatering and root rot.

If the soil is dry, the potatoes can be watered once a week, using about 1-2 liters of water per bush. If the weather is wet, watering can be less frequent - once every two weeks.
