But you shouldn't rely on just fertilizers and additives. The harvest depends on a number of factors, including timeliness.
They also say that the taste, size and quantity of berries depend on the first feeding. And if you do everything right, the vagaries of the weather will not be able to change anything.
When to start
By the time the first green leaves begin to appear on the strawberries, the garden bed should already be in order.
This means you need to get rid of last year’s mulch, weeds, and so on.
Then, if necessary, you need to hill up the bushes and loosen the soil. It is important not to harm the roots, flower stalks and young shoots.
What to feed
Next, take the chicken manure and prepare an aqueous solution in a ratio of 1:19. Put the mixture in a warm room to infuse for two days and use it for watering when ready. Consumption is 0.5 liters per bush.
As an alternative, you can use ammonium nitrate (1 tbsp. per 10 liters of water).
