If you dream of a bountiful harvest of sweet and juicy bell peppers with thick walls, you cannot do without knowledge of the rules of watering.
According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , this crop, like cucumbers, is crazy about frequent rain watering.
However, you shouldn’t overdo it – peppers don’t tolerate excess moisture.
Experienced gardeners don’t bother with this issue, visiting the pepper beds every other day and pouring “rain” over the entire bush.
The hole remains unfilled, since, let us repeat, peppers do not like abundant watering.
Let us remember that when growing bell peppers, fertilization is no less important than watering.
The first of these is, of course, nitrogen, which determines the “volume” of the plant – the more the pepper bush grows, the more it will bear fruit, and therefore, the greater the harvest will be.
In addition, this crop requires potassium fertilizers, as well as compounds containing boron, magnesium, calcium and phosphorus.
