To plant horseradish in their garden plots, summer residents most often use its roots.
In this case, according to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , the plant quickly takes root and, as a result, produces a good harvest.
To prepare the roots for planting, use the following diagram.
Two weeks before you begin to transfer the planting material into the ground, it should be removed from cool storage.
Take the roots to a warm room, where they should be covered with a damp cloth.
Leave the horseradish in this state so that it begins to sprout.
After the vegetation process begins, all the “eyes” in the middle part must be removed.
The buds should be left only on top of the root and below. Before you start immersing the roots in the ground, soak them in a fungicide solution - this will help strengthen the plant's immunity and promote its rapid engraftment.
