Irga can often be found in garden plots, because the fruits of this bush are distinguished by their sweetness and juiciness.
If you want to add irga to your garden crops “collection”, follow the instructions from the expert of the online publication “BelNovosti”, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .
For planting, it is worth choosing seedlings aged 1-2 years.
If you plan to plant several specimens at once, do it in a checkerboard pattern, leaving a distance of 1-2 meters between plants.
Try to make the planting hole 50 cm deep and 50 cm wide.
When digging a hole, throw the top fertile layer to the side so that you can later cover the root system of the seedling with it.
However, it is worth using not so much the fertile layer, but its mixture with rotted compost and sand. The appropriate ratio is 3 to 1.
So, when the hole is ready, fill it with 2 buckets of humus, 400 g of superphosphate and 0.15 kg of potassium fertilizer.
Form a mound from all these components and place the irga on it. Spread the roots of the seedling and cover them with the same fertile soil layer, compact the soil and pour a bucket of water, then mulch the plantings.
