Watering is perhaps the most important procedure in caring for numerous crops, including radishes, which grow in open ground.

An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh listed the factors that are worth paying attention to in order to understand how often it is worth moistening the soil in the beds with radishes.

The result was a whole list:

  • weather conditions;
  • the quality of the environment in which root crops are grown;
  • degree of soil moisture.

If we are talking about a completely ordinary vegetable garden bed, when the weather outside is stable and warm (not hot), it is worth visiting the garden with a watering can once every 4 days.

If it is hot outside, watering should be done every day.

In dry weather, the frequency of watering increases to twice a day. The soil will have to be moistened early in the morning and late in the evening.

But if the days are cool, the frequency of watering can be reduced to once every 5 days.
