Ash as a fertilizer for cabbage
For cabbage, choose the best and well-lit place on the plot. The beds should be located on a flat surface.
It is best to plant cabbage where potatoes, tomatoes, onions, peas, carrots and green manure were previously grown.
Cabbage will like to grow in loose, light and neutral soil.
To ensure that the cabbage grows strong and healthy and the harvest pleasantly surprises, small tricks are used when planting seedlings in open ground. And here is what needs to be done.
For each seedling, dig a small hole and throw 2 tablespoons of wood ash into the bottom. The advantage of this trick is that the ash will allow the plant to take root quickly.
In addition to ash, add 1 teaspoon of nitrophoska and 200 g of humus to the holes. Mix the components and water.
Now it's time for planting. The seedlings are taken out together with the soil lump and are lowered into the hole, covered with dry soil.
