There are few summer residents who do not grow potatoes on their own plot.
In order to obtain a rich harvest of large tubers, each farmer uses his own methods, known only to him, preparing the garden and seed material for planting.
Today we will share with you one of these methods of soil cultivation before sowing.
Proponents of this option do not dig up the garden with a walk-behind tractor or dig with a shovel.
Instead, they recommend starting by marking out rows that are 60 cm wide and 70-80 cm apart (this will make it easier to weed the plantings, get rid of weeds, and also to carry out hilling and loosening work).
After this, the soil should be loosened with a Fokin flat cutter.
Make furrows 10 cm deep and dig holes, leaving a distance of 40 cm between each hole.
All that's left is to add a scoop of humus and a tablespoon of wood ash. Don't forget about the same amount of onion peel, then mix the soil with a hoe and you can throw the tubers into it.
