The expert advises to take a small container even for an adult flower. In addition, it is not advisable to water the violet through the tray.
An important nuance
Perlite or vermiculite should be added to the violet soil as a loosening agent. This will make the soil more water- and air-permeable.
If during watering more water gets into the soil than required, the liquid will quickly go down - into the tray. The roots of the violet will not suffer from over-watering.
