Mahonia aquifolium
In early spring, mahonia delights with fragrant, bright yellow inflorescences, and then attracts the eye with glossy green foliage.
The flowers are replaced by bright blue berries, which, by the way, are edible. In autumn, the mahonia changes its colour to a varnished crimson and waits for spring in this form.
Viburnum evergreen
