Radish, as we know, is one of the first vegetables that appears in our garden.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh spoke about the benefits of this vegetable – it contains potassium and calcium, sodium and magnesium, phosphorus and iron, as well as a whole complex of vitamins.

Besides, it is quite difficult to forget the taste of the first salad prepared from radishes grown with your own hands.

How can we ensure that the vegetable grows juicy, crispy, spicy and tender?

Firstly, you shouldn’t be late: the optimal temperature suitable for sowing is +5… +10 degrees, and for growing – +15… +18 degrees.

Secondly, water the radish beds not often, but generously. In addition, do not forget to loosen the moistened soil.

Thirdly, if the radish harvest failed due to temperature fluctuations, do not try to get rid of the root crops. According to experienced cooks, the same delicious salad can be made from young tops.

And fourthly, harvest the fruits on time. Otherwise, the radish will be bitter and its flesh will become tough.
