In spring, summer and autumn the palm tree copes on its own and does not require special care, but in winter there are crisis moments.
In the cold season, palm leaves may turn yellow. First of all, you need to carefully examine the plant for pests.
If it is not insects, then the reason is related to air humidity. A pressing problem for the winter period, when the air in the home is very dry at the height of the heating season.
For a palm tree, the indicator should be no lower than 60%. You can increase humidity using special devices or the good old way, by placing a damp towel on the radiator.
In addition, you need to periodically add water to the tray of the pot with the palm tree, and spray the plant itself. As soon as the humidity is normalized, the palm tree will turn green again and stop withering.
At least sometimes the plant needs to be fed. It is better to use ready-made compositions that are created specifically for palms.
