Pelargonium fragrant, aromatic or odorous, as you may have already guessed, stands out from its fellows with its special smell.
An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh spoke about other features of the flower.
So, this variety of geranium is not characterized by bright and lush inflorescences.
Instead, it attracts attention thanks to its unusual carved leaves – they serve as the plant’s “calling card”.
On all sides of the leaves you can find small hairs - they function as glands.
As soon as you touch the leaves, you can feel the rich aroma of essential oils - lemon, rose, mint or caramel.
In this regard, it is worth mentioning right away that this type of pelargonium is most likely not suitable for people prone to allergic reactions.
Not everyone can stand the strong smell, and contact with the leaves can cause the skin to turn red and start to itch.
