Dollar and Euro Sharply Fall in Price in Belarus: Here's How Much Foreign Currencies Cost on September 3

Today's trading on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange was unsuccessful for the dollar and the euro.

The American currency lost 0.45 percent, and the European one - 0.94 percent.

The Chinese yuan also failed to win.

But the Russian ruble continued its successful streak, rising in price relative to its “colleague” from Belarus by 0.7 percent.

On the second day of the week, the rates of key currencies stopped at the following levels:

  • dollar - 3 Belarusian rubles 15.75 kopecks;
  • euro - 3 Belarusian rubles 48.19 kopecks;
  • 100 Russian rubles - 3 Belarusian rubles 55.66 kopecks;
  • 10 Chinese yuan - 4 Belarusian rubles 47.96 kopecks.

How have exchange rates changed?

The dollar, which yesterday defeated the national currency of Belarus, failed to continue the upward trend today. The loss amounted to 0.0144 points.

The euro, down 0.0331 points, suffered its third straight defeat.

The Russian ruble, which has been strengthening steadily since August 27, has become more expensive today by another 0.7 percent.

The yuan, which has been unable to return to growth since August 30, "slimmed down" another 0.64 percent.
