The best diet of 2025 has been named: 4.8 points on the nutritionists' scale

The year has only just begun, and American scientists have named the diet that will be considered the best over the next 12 months.

Representatives of US News & World Report worked on the rating.

Experts paid attention to three world-recognized diets: the Mediterranean diet, the DASH and MIND diets, and some other models.

The results of the work were published on the pages of Foodnetwork.com.

The diets were examined in terms of their effectiveness in treating conditions such as arthritis, diverticulitis, various inflammations, and also in improving mental health.

The diets were also assessed in terms of ease of adherence and from the perspective of commercial projects.

The model was assessed on a five-point scale.

The Best Diet of 2025

The Mediterranean diet was recognized as the leader of the TOP-3.

In the dietary rating, it scored 4.8 points.

Scientists have concluded that this diet is associated with a low risk of developing chronic diseases.

Supporters of this model are less likely to encounter cardiovascular diseases, type II diabetes, and cancer.

It includes fresh fruits and vegetables, greens and legumes, whole grains, and seafood and fish.

When following it, the consumption of red meat and sugar is limited.

Eggs, poultry and dairy products are consumed in moderation.

The DASH diet came in second, followed by the Flexitarian Diet, the MIND Diet, and the Mayo Clinic Diet.
