To eat pasta and not gain weight, you should choose products made from durum wheat.
This advice was given by Russian nutritionist Tatyana Meshcheryakova.
An expert told the publication “Lenta.ru” how to eat pasta correctly.

How to Eat Pasta and Not Gain Weight
First, give preference to pasta made from durum wheat.
They contain little starch and a lot of protein, magnesium, potassium, zinc, calcium, vitamins A, C and B.
It is important to remember that pasta is a high-calorie product and should not form the basis of your diet.
According to Meshcheryakova, you can eat no more than two servings of pasta per week, and in the first half of the day.
The nutritionist also recommended not to combine pasta with fatty meat dishes and sauces.
This significantly increases the calorie content and can cause digestive problems.
Pasta goes best with vegetables – sweet peppers, zucchini, broccoli.
Pasta can also be a side dish for poultry, fish and seafood, Meshcheryakova added.
