Dieting is almost always inextricably linked with an acute feeling of lack of food.
If hunger keeps getting in the way of your slim figure, try to “disarm” it with a glass of water or warm tea. The liquid will fill your stomach, making the desire to snack less noticeable.
Coffee copes well with this task, but when losing weight, you should keep the amount of caffeine consumed under control.
A good option is snacks that contain a lot of fiber. This can be cabbage, apple, carrot, lettuce, etc.
The dietary fiber they contain will keep the gastrointestinal tract functioning for a long time, and the vegetables also contain vitamins.
But even in this case, it is worth observing moderation: for example, you should not consume more than 150 g of cabbage per day, so as not to have to deal with bloating, a feeling of heaviness and constipation.
As a snack, you can also use boiled broccoli, 10 nuts, a couple of dried apricots, a handful of seeds or some tofu.
Try to chew as slowly as possible - this should be done in order to stretch out the time of the meal.
You can also distract yourself from hunger with the help of chewing gum: choose mint chewing gum and do not hold it in your mouth for too long.
The hunger attack subsides for a while if you brush your teeth with mint toothpaste. A reflex occurs: if your teeth are brushed, you can't eat.
Finally, remember that an interesting activity can help you take your mind off food. Try to find a hobby, and if you still haven’t decided what you’d like to do, just go for a walk or do some housework. This way, you’ll kill two birds with one stone: satisfy your hunger and clean up your house.
