Breakfast, lunch or dinner: which meal should be the most abundant - the correct answer will surprise many

Many dieters have probably heard the saying that suggests eating breakfast completely, sharing lunch with a friend, and not eating dinner at all, giving the entire prepared dish to the enemy.

Does this mean that the most caloric meal of the day should be breakfast? It turns out, no!

When following a diet, you should not rely on the above-mentioned proverb: too heavy a breakfast and completely skipping dinner is bad.

But you need to learn about the correct way to distribute calories.

What meal should be the heaviest?

Lunch! The daily meal should account for approximately 40 percent of all calories consumed during the day.

And for breakfast and dinner - 20 percent.

“Where did the other 20 percent go?” the most attentive readers will probably ask.

The answer is simple: don't forget about such concepts as "second breakfast" and "afternoon snack". Each of these meals should include 10 percent of the daily calorie intake.

Eating according to the above-described scheme guarantees an almost constant feeling of satiety.

A person who follows a diet and eats 5 times a day is unlikely to “break down.”

Important point: the break between meals should be 2-3 hours. Of course, the exception is the interval between dinner and breakfast, which should be quite long.
