Even the most inexperienced cooks have heard that there are several ways to prepare okroshka.
Kvass, kefir are used more often, and mineral water is used a little less often. But you still need to have some idea of how and what kind of okroshka affects your health.
Experts talked about different ways of preparing this dish and their impact on health.
Kefir
Okroshka with kefir, ayran or tan is considered healthy, since the fermented milk product is better absorbed by the body.
But it is important to remember that when combined with other ingredients, including meat, it may cause weight problems.
Therefore, it is better to choose a product with a low percentage of fat.
Mineral water
This is the leanest version of okroshka that you can come up with.
But often tan is added to it, which makes the dish more delicious, but not so caloric.
You also need to take into account digestive problems, since not every mineral water can be useful for gastrointestinal diseases.
Kvass
Okroshka on kvass is healthy if it is homemade kvass. Store-bought kvass contains a lot of sugar and other additives, which increases the calorie content of the dish.
It is also important to remember that for a healthy person the norm for kvass consumption per day is 200-300 ml and no more than 2 times a week.
