The doctor told when it is best to drink tea, and at what time of day you can give preference to coffee.

Nutritionist Elena Solomatina explained why tea is the best drink for a morning meal.

The doctor pointed out the list of useful components contained in the drink.

In addition to catechin, tannin and antioxidants, it contains L-theanine, reports the Pravda.Ru portal. It improves mental activity, which is important at the beginning of the day. Tannin prevents the formation of pathogenic microflora in the mouth.

Coffee in the morning, according to Solomatina, is a bad option. She explained that the drink causes more active production of gastric juice. This is fraught with the fact that the mucous membrane of the organ will be burned.

The doctor noted that it is better to leave coffee until lunch. In this case, this drink is better than tea. Between meals, coffee gives a person antioxidants and stimulates metabolism.

As for the addition to the drink, Solomatina advised making sandwiches with cheese, not sausage. She explained that the latter contains a lot of fat, salts, sodium nitrate, which is used for coloring.
