At first glance, it may seem that juice is a healthy drink that helps improve health and normalize weight. But don't rush to conclusions.
The thing is that store-bought juice is a harmful product with a high sugar content. Naturally, if you add such a drink to your menu, you will definitely not lose weight.
Nutritionist Olga Panova spoke about this in more detail, reports Moscow 24 .
The specialist noted that even if the package says it is a 100% natural product, it may still contain some amount of sugar.
It is important to keep in mind that a glass of store-bought juice can contain up to five teaspoons of sugar.
But Panova noted that a good alternative is to make your own juice from vegetables, for example, celery and greens.
You can also make fruit juices at home, but without adding sugar. The specialist also noted that it is better to eat fruits whole rather than squeeze juice out of them.
The expert added that you can't drink fresh juices in the morning, otherwise you can burn the mucous membrane. Therefore, it is better to drink juice after breakfast: this way it will improve digestion.
