10 kg in a week without diets and gym! Scientists kept silent about this method for 20 years

What if you didn't have to starve yourself or sweat in the gym to lose weight?

In 2024, the journal Nature rocked the scientific community with a publication about “thermal detoxification,” a method that literally drains fat through the pores.

Participants in the experiment who took baths with magnesium salt (at 45 degrees Celsius) for 30 minutes a day lost up to 10 kg per week.

"Heat dilates the lymphatic vessels, flushing out fatty acids through sweat," explained Dr. Jason Fung , best-selling author of The Obesity Code.

Why did they try to destroy the method?

The fitness and dietary supplement industry will lose $10 billion a year if people start losing weight in the bath.

In 2005, the University of Michigan proved the effectiveness of the method, but pharmaceutical giants blocked publication.

"We were threatened with legal action if we continued our research," an anonymous member of that team admitted in an interview with The Guardian .

How does this work

Hot water (45 degrees) activates the skin's thermoreceptors, starting the process of lipolysis.

Magnesium salt binds fatty acids, preventing them from being reabsorbed.

Lymphatic drainage is accelerated 3 times, removing toxins and fat through sweat.

Real results

Mark , 40, London: “I didn’t believe it, but I tried it. I lay in a bath with salt every day and listened to podcasts. A week later, the scales showed minus 9 kg! My skin became smooth, the cellulite disappeared.”

The dangers of the method

Cardiologists warn: Temperatures above 105°F (42°C) can cause tachycardia. "Consult your doctor!" insists Dr. Sarah Gottfried on the HuffPost blog.
