When working on interior design, owners often forget about important points that later prevent them from living in peace.

As a rule, it is necessary to take into account the number of family members and age changes so that the housing is not only beautiful, but also comfortable.

Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of design and interior, told us what we should not forget when planning an interior.

1. Soundproofing

An important point for residents of apartment buildings. It is necessary to keep in mind that soundproofing panels are mounted not only on the walls, but also on the ceiling. You can lay a carpet on the floor, it is not as effective, but it can also absorb sound.

2. Height of switches

It is considered that the ideal distance for placing an electrical installation from the floor is 90-95 cm. Convenient for the elderly and children.

3. Furniture

An important point is the presence of sharp corners. Firstly, furniture with rounded shapes is perceived by the eye softer. Secondly, even if you hit it, the consequences will not be so painful.

4. Sports

It is necessary to leave a nook or niche where you can hang a horizontal bar or store other sports equipment. Sports are useful for children and adults. Older people will also find something to do.

5. Security

In addition to smart technology, you need to think about how to integrate various sensors into the interior that guarantee the safety of living - smoke, water leaks and other issues.

You also need to remember about personal space, rest and work areas, as well as a place where the whole family could gather, except for meals.
