A large collection of books and magazines that are gathering dust on shelves at home can be turned into decor.
For this purpose, according to designer Yulia Tychino , an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, even catalogues and your own notebooks will do.
Among the existing mass of options, let's start with the simplest one.
It consists of beautifully arranging books on a shelf or cabinet behind glass doors. The size of the volumes or the color of their spine can be used as a basis for sorting.
Alternatively, group the works by topic, placing publications about travel on one shelf, and, for example, encyclopedias on psychology on another.
Important: books covered in dust cannot become an interior decoration, so do not forget to wipe the collections periodically.
If the books are worn out, homemade covers will help to fix the situation.
The easiest option is to cut out appropriately sized rectangles from paper and wrap the books in them. But you can also take the difficult route – make collages, stick on your favorite photos, use watercolors to color the covers, or download stencils.
