This dish can become the king of your sweet table during the New Year holidays.
The taste is so killer that you will hardly tear yourself away from it voluntarily. And what about children? Well, there is nothing to say about them.
We are talking about the famous “Belorussky” pie with crumbly shortcrust pastry and cottage cheese filling with raisins and nuts.
An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova , told us how to prepare the famous dish yourself.
Ingredients
To prepare the pie we will need the following products:
– flour – three and a half cups;
– two glasses of sugar;
– margarine – 200 grams;
– half a kilo of cottage cheese;
- two eggs;
– peeled nuts – a glass;
– a glass of raisins;
- a packet of vanilla.
Preparation
For the dough, mix grated margarine, sugar and flour and grind until crumbly.
Let's steam the raisins, then drain the water and dry the raisins with a napkin.
Grind the nuts into large crumbs, then mix the cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, vanilla and nuts.
Next you will need to mix in the nuts.
Place about two thirds of the dough into a springform pan, make sides and add all the filling.
And on top of it – the rest of the dough. Smooth it out with a spatula and put it in the oven preheated to 180-190 degrees (for an hour).
After the pie has cooled, place it in the refrigerator for an hour or two, and then, after this time, cut it into pieces.
