Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - cook, fourth-category baker told how to cook cheesecakes with potatoes.

You will need:

  • potatoes 500 g;
  • cottage cheese 400 g;
  • eggs 2 pcs;
  • flour 2 tbsp;
  • vegetable oil;
  • salt to taste.

How to cook

1. You can use leftover mashed potatoes or make new ones in the usual way.

2. Mix the cottage cheese and eggs into a homogeneous mass and after the potatoes have cooled, add the puree to the future dough.

3. Mix, add flour, salt and knead the dough.

4. Next, form the cheesecakes and fry them in a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil over medium heat under a lid for 5 minutes.

Then turn over and fry for another 3-4 minutes.

Cheesecakes with mashed potatoes are guaranteed to be tall and fluffy.

They are served with sour cream or melted butter. Enjoy your meal!
