The following additives for cutlet mince are popular: bread, egg, potato, onion.

But tomato juice is very rarely added to the base for cutlets.

And in vain, because the red drink has a positive effect on the consistency of the mass.

In addition, the non-standard ingredient helps improve the taste of the cutlets.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova told about an unusual trick.

How to add tomato juice to minced meat correctly

It is important not to overdo it with the drink: use no more than 150 milliliters per 1 kg of meat.

It is advisable to add tomato juice, which is distinguished by its maximum thickness, to the cutlet mince.

If you don't have access to such a drink, you can simply peel two tomatoes and chop the pulp. The resulting mass will be an ideal alternative to juice.

What will cutlets become thanks to tomato juice

If we are talking about pork cutlets, then due to the non-standard additive they will be less fatty and more healthy.

Chicken or beef cutlets will become juicy and tender.

And tomato juice will make the dish much more appetizing - regardless of the type of minced meat.
