It is unlikely that anyone has ever had any difficulties while preparing boiled potatoes.

In this regard, the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", chef Yulia Arkhipova decided to share her secrets for preparing delicious boiled potatoes.
What can be added to the pan
Perhaps the simplest option is onion and garlic.
The onion needs to be cut into two halves, and a few cloves of garlic should be lightly pressed with a knife.
Once the potatoes are done, these extra ingredients should be removed from the pan and discarded – they have served their purpose.
Of course, boiled potatoes will be tastier and more aromatic if you cook them using aromatic herbs and spices.
You can use both fresh and dried herbs: rosemary, thyme, dill, etc.
Among the spices, I would especially like to highlight garlic and black pepper, which add piquancy to the potato side dish.
And finally: try at least once to replace the regular water for boiling potatoes with broth – vegetable, meat or chicken.
You will immediately notice how much the taste of boiled potatoes has improved.
