If you think that an omelette is one of the simplest dishes, chances are you have never cooked it.

Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova believes that everyone can handle making an omelet, because without knowing certain nuances there is a high risk of getting a flat and unappetizing dish.

You will find some of them in this article.

1. If you want to have a fluffy omelette for breakfast, add ice water to the eggs – two tablespoons is enough.

After this, the mass needs to be thoroughly whipped. The best option is to use a mixer, not a regular fork.

2. It often happens that the fried egg burns and its edges become tough.

To prevent this from happening, do not wait until the pan is very hot - it is enough for the bottom to become warm. The dish should be cooked on minimum heat.

3. If you are worried about the unpleasant taste of the omelette, use ghee or butter for frying.

When in contact with heated vegetable oil, eggs may become bitter.

For reference

An omelette is a fried egg to which milk or another liquid is added, such as water, cream, broth, decoction, juice and, in some recipes, a small amount of some flour, such as wheat, oatmeal, buckwheat, barley, rye, potato, or pea.
