Garlic soup in Czech style consists of a small number of ingredients. And all of them are simple and affordable.
Despite this, the dish is a true culinary masterpiece.
The soup is rich, filling and has a very bright taste.
Therefore, it is not surprising that this dish has become popular not only among many residents of the Czech Republic, but also among gourmets from other countries.
Belnovosti online publication expert in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova told how to prepare Czech garlic soup.
Czech Garlic Soup Recipe
Take a large saucepan, put 400 grams of pork in it and pour in 1.5 liters of cold water.
Place the filled dish on the stove and turn on the burner.
When the liquid in the pan begins to boil, you will need to remove the foam with a spoon, throw a bay leaf into the pan and reduce the heat to low.
While the meat is cooking, take 3 potatoes, peel them and cut them into cubes.
Next, peel one onion and chop the vegetable in the same way as the potatoes.
The next step is to fry the chopped onion. When the vegetable turns golden, add 3 chopped garlic cloves.
After that, cut two slices of rye bread into cubes and fry the resulting pieces. The result will be croutons, which will be needed when decorating the dish.
When the pork is ready, take a second frying pan, put the chopped meat in it and add the previously chopped potatoes, then pour the resulting mixture with strained broth.
Start cooking this soup. When the potatoes are ready, add the previously prepared garlic-onion mixture to the dish and pour in one raw egg (in a thin stream). You can also use chopped greens as another additive.
The soup, to which almost all the ingredients have been added, must be brought to a boil.
After this, the saucepan should be removed from the stove. Part of the soup should be poured into plates. Each portion should be "decorated" with croutons.
Done! The soup will pleasantly surprise you with its deliciousness and satiety.
