The question of whether or not to remove the casing from popular sausages before cooking still worries the minds of many citizens.

There are also heated debates about how long the product should be cooked.

As they say, there are as many opinions as there are people.

But there are still expert opinions worth listening to.

As the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova , reported, sausages are ready-to-eat sausage products.

But many people, since time immemorial, have traditionally cooked this product and eaten it only in this form.

So, for this category of eaters, the question arises: is it necessary to remove the shell before cooking?

The expert opinion is that if the sausage is in an edible casing, then it is not necessary to remove it before cooking.

But if it is “sealed” in a polyamide shell, it must be removed before cooking.

In general, experts advise not to boil sausages, but to steam them, that is, to keep them in boiling water for no more than three to five minutes.

Simply put, it is recommended to warm the product in hot water.

Thanks to this procedure, the taste of the sausages will be revealed to the maximum extent.
