We are talking about a fairly simple procedure.

This trick was told by the expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova.

How to quickly fry potatoes

Don't rush to put the frying pan on the stove.

First, process the chopped vegetable. Place the raw potato sticks or slices in a deep container.

Pour boiling water over these pieces.

Pre-cooking with high temperature liquid is the secret to making quick fried potatoes.

The vegetable pieces should sit in boiling water for a couple of minutes.

Next, discard the contents of the container in a colander and transfer the bars or circles to a paper napkin to remove excess moisture.

After this, you can start frying the potatoes: pour them into a preheated frying pan.

Thanks to pre-treatment in boiling water, the potatoes will fry very quickly.

The process will take not 25 minutes as usual, but much less time. Perhaps 12-15 minutes.
