Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova told how to cook rice without extra effort and very quickly.

With this approach, the procedure will take you no more than five minutes. A little more - 7 minutes - if we are preparing for salads and side dishes.
We will need 100 grams of rice, 150 ml of boiling water and salt (to taste).
The first thing we do is rinse the rice several times under running water.
Next, we put it into a container, preferably a deep cup.
Pour boiling water and add salt. Stir.
Then we put the cup in the microwave. For five minutes. We set the maximum power.
Don't forget to cover the container with rice with a plate.
The rice for the filling will end up half-cooked, but that's how it should be.
It will be completely ready directly in the cabbage rolls or peppers.
If we are preparing rice for a salad or a side dish, then we will increase the cooking time in the microwave by 2 minutes, that is, we will set it to 7 minutes.
If we want to get crumbly rice, we rinse it and throw it in a colander.
