Many people believe that when making mashed potatoes, the choice of ingredients is limited.
For this reason, the choice is mainly between milk or potato broth.
But the list of possible options is much wider, says Yulia Arkhipova, a culinary expert for the online publication BelNovosti.
What can be a great replacement for classic milk?
Aromatic oil
It is recommended to use high-quality unrefined olive oil as a base. Crushed garlic, which is pre-baked in the oven, is added to it.
You can also add a small amount of ground nutmeg and marjoram. This puree will definitely not go unnoticed.
Parmesan
This ingredient seems quite unexpected, but it can be safely added to the puree: you can forget about milk. Parmesan should be grated and added to the mashed potatoes.
The taste of the puree will be incredibly refined and interesting.
If you don't eat all the puree at once, you can use the mixture to make baked goods with filling.
