Next, add tomatoes, salt, pepper, and seasonings. Simmer for 5-7 minutes – the sauce should thicken slightly.
Rinse the bulgur, put the cereal into the pan with the vegetable sauce and mix thoroughly.
Pour in vegetable broth or hot water. The proportion is 1:2 to bulgur.
Then reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid and continue cooking for another 15 minutes.
