Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - a cook, fourth-class baker told how to make such cheese with your own hands.
You will need:
- kefir (at least 2.5% fat) 1 liter;
- salt to taste;
- dill or garlic if desired.
How to cook
1. For cooking, it is better to use kefir poured into a bag. Place it directly in the package in the freezer.
2. After about 8-10 hours it will become hard, after which you need to cut the package with a knife and transfer the hardened mass into a colander lined with gauze.
3. Place the structure over a saucepan. The whey that has collected in it can still be used. Leave everything in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours.
4. After that, all that remains is to pour the whey into a suitable container and transfer the finished curd cheese from the gauze.
It should be stored in a closed container in the refrigerator for a maximum of 5 days. Enjoy!
